Eating

Dieticians recommend 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil per day as the optimal amount to achieve maximal health benefits. Using Sococo as a tonic can achieve these results, however, using Sococo coconut oil as a healthy alternative or flavoursome additive is much more exciting.

Below are some simple and delicious ways to incorporate coconut oil into a healthy diet.

Sococo Breakfast.
Mix in your favourite breakfast bowl:
  • 100grams muesli
  • 3 tablespoons natural yoghurt
  • 1-2 tablespoons Sococo coconut oil
  • dried banana chips
  • a small splash of milk and any other healthy ingredients you desire.

Sococo Salad Dressing
This recipe is so simple you'll never buy salad dressing again.

Whisk in a bowl:
  •  30-40 ml of coconut oil
  • the juice of one lime
  • a sprinkle of dried coriander
Toss your salad and watch your guest's amazement at this fresh, all natural,
healthy alternative to traditional salad dressing.

Sococo BBQ
Use Sococo as an alternative to unhealthy oils when you BBQ. Coconut oil has a high flashpoint, meaning it won't easily become flammable; overheating any oil makes it unstable and potentially unhealthy. A temperature of 180 degrees Celsius is plenty of heat to cook a BBQ, and it won't damage the health properties of the oil or your food.

Feel confident to use large amounts of oil, even as a marinade, as it will actually improve health and as Sococo is so light, it won't make your food excessively oily:     try it!

Cooking tip - Don't excessively preheat the BBQ before adding your food. Add Sococo oil to the plate and 1-2 food items as its heats, this helps you gauge the temperature without altering the health properties of the oil.
